Choose the three real editing actions in order. A premature action reopens the draft, while the accepted actions transform the visible label step by step and finally file it.

Possible use

It could make a reviewer process a handoff draft through a miniature editorial checklist, or let a presenter stage an agenda line before revealing the final copy. The sentence does not need permission to be edited in a prescribed order.

Reasonable alternative

A reasonable local alternative is one string transformation at the boundary where it is needed, or three independent controls when order has meaning. A locked editorial queue adds ceremony to ordinary text cleanup.
