Component

ExcerptShunt

Select a contiguous excerpt with the pointer or keyboard, then shunt it aside. The chosen characters leave the source sentence and appear in a separate tray; Restore sentence returns the original wording.

Possible use

It could let a reviewer pull a debatable clause out of a handoff before discussing it, or let a presenter remove one agenda phrase into a side tray while the room decides. Selection already identifies the phrase; moving it adds theatrical paperwork.

Reasonable alternative

A reasonable local alternative is a normal text selection, inline editing or one annotation beside the sentence. A component should not relocate content merely because it was highlighted.
