Component
FormatFork
Choose a filing destination from a native select. The same words are rendered as an ordered list, real table cells or individual flowing spans, so the choice changes the document structure and its reading shape.
Possible use
It could let a reviewer decide whether a handoff line belongs in a ledger, a table or a ribbon on a presentation. The format changes the ceremony, not the information in the line.
Reasonable alternative
A reasonable local alternative is authoring the intended semantic element once and keeping the content in normal flow. A select should not govern the ontology of a sentence.

Mechanism

- Start with the same words in a numbered ledger.

- Choose a table row or flowing ribbon from the native select.
- 3
- The actual HTML structure and reading shape change together.
