Extract factor files the smallest available divisor and reduces the live number. The number changes after every ruling, the factors remain visible as a ledger, and Reopen ledger restores the supplied value.

Possible use

It could let a reviewer factor a handoff estimate into a visible chain, or let a presenter turn an agenda number into a tiny arithmetic ceremony. The result is deterministic and the ceremony adds no insight.

Reasonable alternative

A reasonable local alternative is one calculation at the point where factors are actually needed, or simply displaying the original number. A ledger should not make division wait for a button.
