Component

ParcelAudit

Choose one local file and its byte size becomes one to five visible audit parcels. Inspect each parcel in order; the file itself is never uploaded or changed, but the queue insists that it was.

Possible use

It could let a reviewer ceremonially inspect a handoff attachment before releasing it, or let a presenter make a small local asset pass through a visible intake queue. Neither use learns more than the file picker already knows.

Reasonable alternative

A reasonable local alternative is a normal file input with one validation message. Dividing bytes into invented parcels adds ceremony without security, upload or review value.

Local file auditNo parcel

Selecting a file creates an audit queue from its size. The queue is not legally meaningful.

A file cannot be released until it has been unnecessarily divided.

Mechanism
1
Choose a local file; nothing is uploaded.
2
Its byte size becomes a small queue of visible parcels.
3
Audit every parcel before releasing an unchanged file.

02 / Usage

Put it somewhere.

example.tsxTSX
import { ParcelAudit } from "gra-ui";
import "gra-ui/styles.css";

export function AuditedFile() {
  return <ParcelAudit label="Local file audit" />;
}
